Monday: Awake 4am for tears, then 6am. Little one slept longer, with her for 20 minutes after 7:20am, breakfast, then standard school with duty at lunch. Home after 5pm, with Alexandra for over 75 minutes, some sharing in the latter part. (For the first time, she was deliberately woken up from a nap, at 4pm after two hours!) Dinner after 6:30pm then routine. Visit about 8:30pm, caught some Nash, then needs 45 MINUTES from after 10:30pm, I mean really?! I hang about as Mom tries, it works, downstairs after 11:30pm.
Tuesday: Some dreamworld with heists and heroes; I need to use the bathroom after 5:30am. But then apparently fall back asleep, awake just before 7am. Alexandra poked Mommy in the eye. O.o With little one for half an hour, breakfast, standard school. Prep after school to be away, home after 5pm, with Alexandra for over half an hour with back and forth. (Today she enjoyed people with books at library/group and went on the slide!) Dinner after 6pm, third Tylenol night, much fussing before 7:30pm in crib. Watched videos after 8pm, then I graded. Pee accident during change at 10:45pm leads to problems, only settled after 11:30pm. Downstairs but not immediately asleep.
Wednesday: Dreamt me and Schrum being audited by shady guys or something, dress up in costumes while putting on "Fear"... awake after under 5 hours sleep. With Alexandra for 45 minutes from 6:30am, breakfast, standard school. Prepped for being away, left after 4pm, got to Citizen an hour later but wrong Cappies location, dropped by Ikea, got to right location 5:45pm to get envelope and glass of wine. Then to uOttawa for conference info, stopped by store and for food on the way home, arrival before 9pm. Little one made noise 10:45pm but simply took soother. An hour later went downstairs.
Thursday: Awake after 4.5 hours but managed more sleep to 6am alarm. With Alexandra for half an hour, final prep then left at 7am. At uOttawa by 7:30am, and doing registration table until after 2pm, though did go to pick up lunch. Also handed off Cappies stuff to SirWil video crew. Then a session at 2:30pm (by Gazette editor who remembered I do cartoons) and wine/cheese at 4:15pm. Reconnected with a number of TMC people (including Sam, Hedge & Audrey hugs) and chatted with after awards presented. Walked with them back to Rideau, caught bus after 5:30pm, home by 6pm. Over half an hour with little one, dinner after 6:30pm, bath with new mat, bedtime. Handled early fuss, Mom went later, did comic chat, nearly fell asleep before 10pm. Downstairs after 10pm.
Friday: Awake hearing tears at 5am - after she woke up still in crib! Had dreamt about Stargate recaps - including some crossover with an Earth in peril plot at a diner? With little one for over half an hour from 6:15am. Caught 7am bus again, at uOttawa by 7:30am, less than 50 still to register by an hour later. Went to 11:30am session on data (which I'd really hoped for), lunch back at registration, then to check out exhibitors. Returning 2pm everything was being packed up. So went to last session but left early to get a bookshelf, returned but was done so last ten minutes watched Marian Small. Then talked with Mark and Audrey, bit of grading, and hauled a bookshelf down to Rideau. Home by 5:45pm, so 45 minutes with little one. Dinner routine, etc, had shower at 8pm then soothed her. Downstairs before 10:30pm, upstairs again before 11am and downstairs by 11:30pm.
Saturday: Awake 5:30am. Cleared more space on camera card, with Alexandra for 45 minutes from 6:15am, then 11 month old photo shoot. Left during breakfast to catch bus, at University before 8am. Eager other volunteers handling things; did some work, attended a session, did more schoolwork, attended last session. Said goodbyes, headed out after 1pm to meet family at High Tea in Tulip Park. After some pictures, little one slept in stroller for long walk. Caught bus, home (via DQ) after 3pm. Got BBQ outside with help, had some down time, then did dishes, and then playing with little one for an hour. Dinner 6pm, bedtime routine, then wife used BBQ. Some fussing after 8pm, traded off. Stayed up for change before 11:30pm, downstairs about midnight.
