Monday: Six hours sleep, as you do. Alexandra was in crib until 4:30am! Total success with basement. With her for about 75 minutes from 7:15am, then her breakfast, then her snooze of a bit over 30 minutes. Out after 10am for our breakfast, home before 11:30am. Grading, but snooze problems after 12:15pm, not resolved until before 1pm plus doing some tech support. Packing, quick leftovers lunch, left 2:10pm for airport. Check-in all good (they took little one's face cream which we had in the same place going down), arrival at gate (still in middle of nowhere so K'tan) just before boarding call. We were seated across from a 1 year old, so some peeking. Landing was less rough, but more of a problem for Alexandra; made it to car for 5:30pm, home 6pm - and she's asleep. We unpack, attempt dinner/bath but tears until story. In crib after 7pm, and back to grading. x.x Bit of fussing; I go downstairs by 11:30pm.
Tuesday: Awake after 5:30am, finish report cards. With Alexandra for over 20 minutes after 7am, breakfast, standard school - with an on-call, so I'm 4 on 4. Shop on the way home, arrive before 5pm which is when little one awakens. With her for ~75 minutes, dinner at 6:30pm but she's fussy then and even in bath. In crib after 7pm, Mom takes first shift as I finish dinner... think I'm getting sick. With little one before 9pm, downstairs before 10pm.
Wednesday: Delirious dreams, fully wake before 6am, definitely not well. With Alexandra for half an hour from 7am, breakfast, standard school. Worse by end of day, home after 4pm, lay down for half an hour. With little one for half an hour solo, then some back and forth until 6pm and dinner. For 4th night running, doesn't want food. (Also didn't want warm milk in afternoon.) Longer bath. Some fussing at 7:30 and then 8:20pm and I have nothing left. Took flu meds and downstairs before 9pm.
Thursday: Woke 2am, then 6am, so not terrible sleep, throat still an issue. With Alexandra for half an hour from 6:45am. Staff meeting to start school about the VP situation, then standard school... but I went from weak voice to very worse. Left instructions for test/quizzes for Fri, got home 4pm to collapse in basement (just before others got home). Upstairs before 5:30 for an hour with the little one, which was mostly watching her explore except for some radio dancing. Dinner at 6:30pm and she ate, then scooted down the hall towards bath. No Int'l festival, I'm not well. Crib fussing at 8pm but not after, did comic chat, downstairs before 11pm.
Friday: Awake once, and again by 5:30am, so usual six hours. Spent morning doing some review work, was with Alexandra for over half an hour from 7am and breakfast, upstairs about 9am to find soother and talk to cleaners. After 11:30am was out and delirious for over two hours. Heard little one go to nap after 2:30pm. Came up before 4:30pm as it was quiet, both were asleep in living room. Played for 90 minutes, latter hour all me including some radio dancing. Dinner after 6pm. Fussing before 8pm. Downstairs 10pm with no activity star; upstairs for an hour around 11pm as we hit crisis mode and backup sleep sack.
Saturday: Heard things 5am after dreaming I was hosting morning announcements with broken teleprompter. Managed more sleep to 6:30am, dreaming about working near Waterloo or something. With Alexandra for 2.75 hours from 7am, including standard snooze, then breakfast (new cereal), a bit more time, then an hour for myself. With Alexandra for 2+ hours from 11:20am, including standard snooze, then met up at mall (new sleep sack). Followed by grocery shopping, home after 3pm, call from France, Alexandra time for laundry and cake creation, self time before 4pm. Back up by 5pm for fussing, and got cards. Alexandra also trucked down the hall to the bathroom, with me chasing slowly, moving like her. Dinner at 5:30pm, in crib less than an hour later. But then I'm with her for over half an hour before 7pm... and half an hour from that, Anne-Lise is needed for about the same time. But from 8:45pm on, she manages to settle herself with minimal assistance, wow. Birthday cake and Murder She Wrote analysis. Downstairs after 10pm.
